How Automation Can Enable Security by Design in DevSecOps

ABOUT THIS WEBINAR
In the worlds of defense and aviation, security is non-negotiable.
But too often, it doesn’t get the attention it needs. In traditional DevOps projects for defense and aviation, a dedicated team manages security at a specific stage in the process. Ultimately, that means security becomes an add-on rather than an integral part of the DevOps process.
While addressing security after the fact is a long-standing challenge, the Federal Information Security Modernization Act (FISMA) and the US Department of Defense (DoD) Software Modernization Strategy’s stringent new requirements make it unsustainable. Vendors and suppliers must radically rethink how they design software if they want to continue working with the federal government and defense departments.
How should vendors and suppliers rethink the design process? Organizations that prioritize security at every stage embrace a process called DevSecOps.
How do organizations transition to DevSecOps? And what role does automation play?
These are the questions we seek to answer in our upcoming defense and aerospace webinar.
Join our defense and software experts to learn how to do the following:
- Embed security into each stage of the DevOps process
- Enable automation to speed software design
- Assess the demands of the new Software Modernization Act
- Evaluate how vendors and suppliers will deploy and manage new software
- Manage highly secure platforms with limited or no access to code
