6G: Technology Revolutions Needed

While 5G is barely 3 years into deployment with Rel-16 features just now in commercial devices, the research and vision-setting for 6G are well under way. While some believe that 6G will merely “fix what 5G did not do right”—this presentation presents a different view. 6G will have revolutionary elements and will leverage what 5G has started. But the move to 6G is driving a need for revolution in many technologies. This talk will also explore what some of those innovations need to be and provide some perspective on the bright minds working on these technologies right now.
