Tim has worked for UL LLC since 1990. His responsibilities include the development, maintenance and application of UL's certification requirements and delivery of UL conformity assessment services for: Utility grid interconnection systems equipment, inverters and converters, EV V2G and V2X, PV BOS equipment, PV rapid shutdown, PV Hazard Control, engine generators, wind turbines and wind turbine system components. Tim serves on several Distributed Generation IEEE, IEC and ACP Technical Committees and he is a member of NFPA 70, NEC Code Making Panel 4. NFLA 37, 2012 IEC 1906 Award Recipient.
Kevin Cavell is Keysight's Energy Solutions Manager. He graduated from Rutgers University in 2000 with Bachelor of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
He has been with Keysight Technologies for 18 years as a solution expert focusing on power applications. Kevin is currently an Energy Solution Manager with the Automotive and Energy Solutions business segment in Keysight Technologies, and is responsible for the strategy and marketing management for power, photovoltaic, smart grid and HEV/EV solutions.

Jens Schmutzler joined Keysight Technologies end of 2021 when VERISCO became part of Keysight Technologies Deutschland GmbH. He was co-founder and managing director of VERISCO GmbH in Dortmund, Germany and is involved in communication technology for EV charging systems since 2009. He is an active member of DIN (German Standardization Body) and Project Team leader within the ISO/IEC 15118 Joint Working Group for standardization of conformance tests for the Vehicle-to-Grid Communication Interface.
Before his time at VERISCO, Jens was a senior researcher at the Communication Networks Institute (CNI) at TU Dortmund University, Germany. At CNI he was head of the ICT for Energy Systems and E-Mobility research group with about 10 staff members and coordinated national and international research projects on interoperability of EVs and charging infrastructures. His research background is embedded Web Services and their impact on constrained communication networks. Jens Schmutzler graduated at TU Dortmund as Dipl.-Ing. and studied one year at the National University of Singapore (NUS) in the fields of computer science and electrical engineering.

Andrew is the Strategic Planner for Grid Edge technology and distributed energy resource (DER) test in the Automotive and Energy Solutions (AES) group at Keysight Technologies. He works directly with industry leaders to define and develop test solutions for accelerating new energy technologies and electric vehicle-grid integration for the future smart grid.
Andrew has over a decade of experience working with emerging power and energy system technologies in both the utilities and tech sectors. Prior to joining Keysight, Andrew was the lead R&D engineer for mission-critical data center power systems and net-zero energy hydrogen fuel-cell based power architectures at Hewlett-Packard/Hewlett Packard Enterprise. He also worked in the utilities industry as a designer for major EPC firms specializing in utility-scale wind and PV power plants and transmission/distribution systems. Andrew holds a B.A. in Mathematics from Carroll College, MT and a M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Montana State University with specific focus and research in advanced power systems, microgrids, and renewable energy integration.

Wolfgang Kalthoff joined Keysight Technologies in 2018 as Business Development Engineer for charging test solutions. Wolfgang holds a Master of Science in Sales Engineering and Product Management from the Ruhr University in Bochum, Germany.
