• Physical Layer Testing Challenges of High-Speed In-Vehicle Networks

  This presentation will examine the changes sweeping automotive in-vehicle technology and the accompanying signal integrity challenges. New ADAS and AD applications such as sensors, high-resolution displays, cameras, and connected cars – are served by emerging standards operating at data rates far beyond anything ever attempted in the hostile automotive environment. Ensuring the components, transceivers, and interconnects within those networks are fully tested will foster interoperability between vendors, and ensure that complex, safety-critical systems function according to their design goals.

• Road to Lab: A Use Case

  A large original equipment manufacturer (OEM) has approached us with three challenges, from generic to specific: their need to reduce miles driven on the test track, their focus on a specific case of vulnerable road user (VRU) activated autonomous emergency braking (AEB) function, and their current capability to test the radar’s extended object tracking feature under said use case, in the lab.
