During this seminar we will address some of the latest developments in our Keysight’s EDA software, that help you to make you more efficient when doing your high frequency design.
Morning session:
Latest technologies drive for more bandwidth and higher frequencies. Power Amplifier (PA) designers are challenged with high peak-to average ratios, while maintaining high power added efficiency and linearity. Load pull techniques are used to determine optimal load impedances to present to their devices to attain performance objectives (such as power, gain, efficiency, error vector magnitude, adjacent channel power rejection, etc.). Furthermore, applying Digital Pre-Distortion (DPD) and Envelop Tracking help to achieve performance improvements of your PA. During this session you will learn form an expert how to do the above mentioned analysis before going to prototype in PathWave ADS.
Afternoon session:
Industry trends in RF and Microwave Design are driven by more functionality, higher bandwidth in smaller packages. Denser integration and more complex integrated modules require circuit simulation to be combined with 3D electromagnetic (EM) simulation to account for inevitable parasitic and coupling effects. You will learn now to assemble and analyze multi-technology components and to do 3DEM-circuit co-simulation iteratively during design tweaks; and not just as a final sign off verification before hardware fabrication. Also, the system aspect is a powerful way to expedite the development cycle. Validate your system design with realistic modulated signals and extract authentic time-domain metrics like EVM and BER. Experience how RF system Explorer unites circuit and system designers into a contiguous workflow.
