Keysight’s Wireless Tech Days provides a platform for individuals to keep up with rapidly evolving wireless communications technology. With the evolution of 5G, new technologies like non-terrestrial networks and 5G RedCap are continuously expanding, leading to novel use cases and broader definitions of user equipment. The industry is already looking forward to the next generation 6G wireless technology while pushing to develop innovative new technologies like Open RAN. Attendees of the Wireless Tech Days event can stay informed of the latest trends, challenges, and practical solutions for real-world wireless communication technology testing challenges.

  • Randy Becker
    5G Application Engineer - Keysight Technologies
    Randy Becker is a 5G Application Engineer in Keysight’s Internet Infrastructure Network Access group. He obtained his BSE with a major in Electrical Engineering from Walla Walla College in 1997 and an MSEE from the University of Nebraska in 1999. He then joined Hewlett-Packard/Agilent/Keysight Technologies where he has worked for 20 years in a variety of technical marketing roles in the area of cellular communications. In his current role, he works with network equipment manufacturers around the world ensuring the successful development and deployment of 5G base stations.
  • Manuel Blanco
    5G Strategic Planner - Keysight Technologies
    Manuel is working as 5G Strategic Planner responsible for solution planning and Go To Market activities for the UXM 5G Network Emulator portfolio for Keysight Technologies.

    Over his +15 years of experience, Manuel has hold multiple positions including product development engineer, application engineer and Product Marketing Manager focused on the mobile and wireless industry.

    Manuel is based in Malaga, Spain and holds a MSc and MRes in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
  • Dylan McGrath
    5G Solutions Marketing Manager - Keysight Technologies
    Prior to joining Keysight, Dylan spent more than 20 years in technology journalism, marketing, and public relations. He spent more than 10 years as an editor at EE Times, rising to editor-in-chief of the venerable 50-year old electronics industry trade publication. His career has also included stints at Electronic News, IHS Markit, and the Hoffman Agency. He holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from California State University-Sacramento and a master’s degree in creative writing from San Francisco State University.
  • Jean Manuel Dassonville
    RAN Solutions Planner - Keysight Technologies
    Jean Manuel Dassonville joined Hewlett Packard France in 1984 and held various positions before moving to the U.S to participate in the creation of new operations focused on emerging markets including Storage test, Digital Wireless and Mobile Computing Protocol test. He then served as strategic planner before joining Keysight’s Internet Infrastructure business unit as Solutions Planner.
  • Nizar Messaoudi
    Solution Architect for the Quantum Engineering Solutions - Keysight Technologies
    Nizar Messaoudi (Student Member IEEE) is the Solution Architect for the Quantum Engineering Solutions team at Keysight Technologies, Inc., where he is responsible for developing advanced, scalable electronic control systems for multiple qubit and quantum technologies. Prior to this, he worked as an RF/uW Application Engineer at Keysight, supporting customers and enabling their success in several industries including Quantum Computing, 5G, Satellite Communications, and IoT. He also taught at the University of Waterloo, training well over 3000 engineers in the art of making RF measurements and managing the undergraduate RF and microwave laboratory. He is currently pursuing his Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Waterloo, with a specialty in Quantum Information. Previously, he received his Master of Applied Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo, and his Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary. His current research interests include Josephson Parametric Amplifiers (JPA) and their applications for qubit readout and producing squeezed states for quantum illumination. In conjunction with his role at Keysight, he is also investigating the effects of classical control electronics imperfections on quantum devices.
  • Gabrielle Duncan
    RF Portfolio Marketing Manager - Keysight Technologies
    Gabrielle Duncan is the Portfolio Marketing Manager for Aerospace & Defense (A&D) and Non-Terrestrial Network (NTN) applications of RF test instrument products at Keysight Technologies. Her background is in electrical engineering with previous experience as a product marketing engineer and application engineer.
